DESCRIPTION:The 13th lecture series in the “Secure Critical Infrastructure” programme is taking place this winter semester. To kick things off\, Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Reuter\, a researcher at ATHENE\, will introduce the lecture series and the topic of securing critical infrastructure. The series will address various critical infrastructures and their security challenges. Speakers from research institutions\, companies\, government agencies and critical infrastructure operators have been invited to give specialised presentations on specific aspects of the topic. The 'Secure Critical Infrastructures' lecture series is organised by ATHENE researchers Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Hollick\, Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Reuter and Prof. Dr. Jens Ivo Engels.The event is open to Bachelor's and Master's students in the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Social and Historical Sciences\, particularly those on the International Studies/Peace and Conflict Studies programme\, as well as anyone at TU Darmstadt who is interested. Members of the general public are also welcome to attend. \n The lecture series takes place on Wednesdays from 16:15 to 17:55 in a hybrid format. This means that the lectures will be held in person in Room S103/123 (Old Main Building\, Hochschulstr. 1\, 64289 Darmstadt). Furthermore\, participants have the option to join the event via Zoom. \n It is organized in partnership with the LOEWE Center EmergenCITY and the Secure Urban Infrastructures research division of ATHENE . It is part of TU Darmstadt’s profile themes of “Cyber&shy\;security” and “Complex Interconnected Systems” within the Research Field I+I.. \n Information on registration (under booking) and other dates.
