Prof. Christoph Busch examines security and data protection in vascular biometry
The first edition of the Handbook of Vascular Biometry describes the current state of the art in this field. The handbook offers students, scientists and engineers a detailed insight into different areas of vascular biometry. In recent years, so-called vascular biometry has increasingly developed into an independent field of research and is considered an attractive alternative to established biometric modalities such as face recognition or fingerprint recognition.
In-depth studies offer the reader theoretical and empirical explanations of fundamental and current research topics. Comprehensive experimental evaluations underline the explanations. Finally, open questions and possible further research directions are pointed out.
