ATHENE supports it-sa
ATHENE is an official supporter of it-sa, the leading trade fair for IT security in Europe. ATHENE-CEO Prof. Michael Waidner says: "As Europe’s leading trade fair for IT security, it-sa is an important platform that enables us to present our security solutions to representatives of industry and public bodies and conduct discussions with them. This dialogue is very important for a research.“
ATHENE has been represented at the it-sa with its participating institutions and actors for years: Fraunhofer SIT regularly presents its latest developments and solutions at the Fraunhofer-Gemeinschaftstand. ATHENE's start-up projects StartUpSecure and the national Digital Hub Cybersecurity are also on site as contact points for startups and those interested in setting up their own businesses. The Digital Hub Cybersecurity is also one of the initiators of the DACH region's most important cybersecurity start-up award, the up@it-sa award. Since 2018, the prize has been awarded annually at it-sa to the best cybersecurity startup from the DACH region.
The it-sa takes place from October 6 - 8, 2020 in Nuremberg.
