Use-A-PQClib: Usable APIs for post-quantum cryptography libraries
The working group User-Centered Security (UCS) headed by Prof. Andreas Heinemann, University of Darmstadt, is launching a new project. As part of the Use-A-PQClib project, the scientists, together with Darmstadt-based MTG AG, are designing and implementing an easy-to-use programming interface (API) for PQC procedures.

Once again this year, the submissions of the CRISP scientists at the prestigious Annual International Conference on the Theory and Applications of Cryptology and Information Security (Asiacrypt) conference are successful. Asiacrypt is the top international conference dealing with theories and applications of cryptology and information security.

Two special issues at IJISCRAM
Prof. Christian Reuter, CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt, and dr. Jens Pottebaum, University of Padernborn, are publishers of two special editions of the International Journal of Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management (IJISCRAM). One issue deals with IT support for crisis and continuity management and the other with crisis continuity management.

The ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (ACM CCS) is the world's largest academic conference on communications security and cybersecurity (CCS). Also this year numerous submissions of the Darmstadt cybersecurity experts were accepted.

Mensch and Computer 2018
Researchers from the working group "Science and Technology for Peace and Security (PEASEC) led by Prof. Christian Reuter, CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt, were able to place five papers on Human and Computer 2018. Prof. Reuter is also the main organizer of the one day workshop "Human-machine interaction in safety critical systems", which takes place within the framework of Human and Computer 2018.

CRISP Flagship Project "Secure Internet Infrastructures" places 3 Papers
From theflagship project "Safe Internet Infrastructures" led by Prof. Haya Shulman, Fraunhofer SIT, three papers were accepted at top international conferences. As part of the project, new mechanisms are being developed to make it easier to redirect Internet traffic for eavesdropping via prepared Internet nodes.
