Dr. Christian Wachsmann wins ACM SIGSAC Doctoral Dissertation Award
CASED and EC SPRIDE researcher Dr. Christian Wachsmann was awarded with the second prize of the ACM SIGSAC Doctoral Dissertation Award for his dissertation ?Trusted and Privacy-Preserving Embedded Systems?. He received the prize at the ACM CCS conference 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona (US).

The annual award by SIGSAC recognizes excellent research by doctoral candidates in the field of computer and information security. The SIGSAC Doctoral Dissertation Award winner and up to two runners up are recognized at the ACM CCS conference, the flagship annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Security, Audit and Control (SIGSAC) of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
Christian Wachsmann's dissertation was supervised by EC SPRIDE-PI Prof. Dr. Ahmad-Reza Sadeghi.
