On the occaison of the event "BSI im Dialog" the BSI invited the representatives of the leading German research locations for cyber- and IT security to Bonn. In interesting discussions the participants talked about current topics regarding IT security.
More and more areas of daily life are dependent on the secure functioning of implemented information- and communication technology. The increased threat of IT- and cybersecurity challenges society greatly which solution also demands great efforts by the researchers. The participants discussed the challenges and possible solutions for IT- and cybersecurity research.
BSI in Dialog
With the event "BSI im Dialog" the BSI, as the national cybersecurity authority is looking for the direkt dialog with usersand producers in order to create a common understanding for the challenges of the digital era. Because cyber-security and the digitalisation not only occupy the BSI, it also effects the everyday life of each individual. Cloud Computing, IT security or Smart Homes, the spectrum of topics is wide and needs an open dialog with the government, economy und society, especially about the necessary security structures.
