Cooperation with Israel
TU Darmstadt and Israel Institute of Technology will work closely together in the field of IT security
TU Darmstadt and the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) signed a partnership agreement. The first focus points in the collaboration between the two universities are IT security and start-up management. Prof. Jürgen Rödel, Vice President Research, and Prof. Mira Mezini, Vice President for Knowledge and Technology Transfer and CYSEC member, travelled to Isreal in November 2015 to sign the Memorandum of Understanding.
Prof. Mira Mezini said: "Together with the Department of Computer Science of TU Darmstadt we will offer a Dual PhD Degree. Further we will expand the technical cooperation between the profile area CYSEC and the local center for IT security." Dual PhD students will be supervised by professors from both institutes.
