Spring conference of the E-Finance Lab
CRISP-reasearcher holds opening adress and speeches
Prof. Mira Mezini, CRISP researcher in the profile sector CYSEC of the Technische Universität Darmstadt, vice president of the Technische Universität Darmstadt for research and innovation, opened the spring conference 2017 of the E-Finance Lab and usd AG on the issue „Cybersecurity and Finance – Challenges, Counter Measures, and Application Experiences“. Die CRISPresearcher Prof. Peter Buxmann, CYSEC [at] Technische Universität Darmstadt, Dr. Martin Steinebach, Fraunhofer SIT, and Dr. Christian Rathgeb, University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt held speeches.
The task of the E-Finance Lab which was founded in the year 2003, as a center for interdisciplinary Research and the transfer of knowledge, is the active contribution of the so called "Digital Finance 2.0". The fast changing demands in the financial sector very often collide with the historically grown architectures and systems of technology and knowledge. It is therefore important, that solutions are found with the customer, and the providers in the financial sector. The lab understands itself as a project of cooperation between the industry und the university: The Goethe-Universität Frankfurt and the Technische Universität Darmstadt as well as the Industrial partners Deutsche Börse, DZ BANK, Finanz Informatik, IBM etc. all work together.
