10 years of Odenwald-Dialogue

The anniversary event of the Odenwald-Dialogue will be focused on the theme "Big Data: Totale Überwachung oder lohnender Fortschritt?" The IT forensic and EC SPRIDE researcher Dr. Martin Steinebach gives the keynote speech. He tells of his daily work, to give the citizens an understanding of the topic “Big Data” and explains what is meant by this.

 

After a short look back, the speaker will look in the future with the topic "Big Data: Total surveillance or rewarding progress". How does the collection of amounts of data infuence already our society and economy and do we have to fear a misuse or is that the price for an improved service?

In addition, this year's Academy Award is awarded.
