The Night of Science at Goethe University Frankfurt’s Riedberg Campus is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The event is one of the largest student-organized science nights of its kind and is dedicated to the motto “Knowledge should be free and accessible to all.” The central theme of the anniversary year is computer science; computer science pioneer Grace Hopper has been chosen as the event’s patron.

HUANG Yiyang, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Frankfurt am Main, is our guest at the ATHENE Distinguished Lecture Series. In his keynote speech, he will discuss the topic of "China's Current Development and Prospects for Chinese-German Cooperation". After a discussion with moderator Prof. Dr. Haya Schulmann, he will open up the floor to questions from the audience. The event will be held in English.

CAST Workshop: AI and IT Security

The CAST workshop, 'AI and IT Security', examines current developments, regulatory requirements and practical solutions throughout the entire AI lifecycle. The focus is on securely and resiliently deploying modern AI systems, new threat scenarios and the requirements of the EU AI Regulation. The programme includes presentations on agent-based AI, model strategies, risk management, the effective operation of AI solutions and open-source analysis. It will also highlight ways in which companies can integrate AI systems into their security architectures securely and compliantly.
