About the Biometrics Special Interest Group
The division BIOSIG is assigned to the department of safety of the GI e.V. It is thematically dedicated to the basics, methods, techniques, processes and realizations for securing the authenticity and integrity of involved entities when using information, communication and operating systems for applications with security requirements as well as their organizational and legal framework. Constructive approaches and threat analyses are dealt with here. The division sees itself as a professional discussion forum for scientists, developers, users and representatives of supervisory and regulatory authorities in German-speaking countries for this field of research and application.
