German mobile networks are currently being raised to the next generation level with 5G technology. The specifications for security in this area and the associated certification activities accompany this process. The aim is to create the basis for secure and sovereign networks in Germany, whose security features, such as reliability and availability, are essential factors for Germany's economic development. The workshop will provide an overview of the current state of the art in the field of 5G security and an outlook on future developments.
