Researcher of TU Darmstadt lay out bait for hackers
With purposfully placed bait - so called Honeypots - researchers from the research group of Prof. Max Mühlhäuser, CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt, set traps to attract hackers. Almost minute-by-minute attacs are registered. The reseachers receive countless information about cyber-attacs and develope defence strategies.

New research project "INVOLVE"
The research project "INVOLVE - INternet VOting UsabLe and VErifiable" has started. The goal of INVOLVE is to investigate and optimize the usability of verification mechanisms in Internet voting systems.

CRISP-Researcher represents TU-Darmstadt at BMBF-sponsored Medical-Informatics Project
CRISP-Member CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt is involved in the HiGHmed-Consortium as an academic project partner. The project is supported by a total of 30 million Euro within the context of the Medical-Informatics-Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The new funding concept is to strengthen medical research and to improve patient care.

"Luncheon" on the topic of Cybersecurity with the US Consul General in Frankfurt
Yesterday the US Consul General in Frankfurt, James W. Hermann, hosted a "Luncheon" on Cybersecurity. Approximatly 15 representatives from industry and authorities of the greater Frankurt-Rhein-Main area were invited, among them Dr. Haya Schulman and Prof. Michael Waidner of CRISP/Fraunhofer SIT as the only representatives from science.

CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt opens new showroom
The new showroom in Morenwegstraße, Darmstadt was inaugurated with an opening ceremony. Prof. Peter Buxmann held a short welcoming speech and thereby emphasizing the postitve effect of the showroom on transfer culture.
