Internationally visible Center of Cybersecurity opened in Darmstadt
The former IT security centers EC SPRIDE and CASED funded by the German Federal Government and the State of Hesse respectively have been united to bundle their strengths in the “Center for Research in Security and Privacy” (CRISP). More than 450 reseachers of TU Darmstadt, University of Apllies Sciences and of Fraunhofer Institutes IGD and SIT are working on topics of current relevance in the area of cybersecurity research.

Announcement of the German Prize for IT-Security 2016
The German Prize for IT Security granted by the Horst Goertz-Foundation is awarded in October 2016 for the sixth time.
Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka, Federal Minister of Education and Research, is the patron of the German Prize for IT-Security 2016.
Registration is possible until November 13, 2015.
