Digital Democracy - Curse or Blessing?

The association Gegen Vergessen - Für Demokratie e.V. developed a series of events called "Digital Democracy - Curse or Blessing?" in cooperation with Jugendring Darmstadt e.V. and Darmstadt city of science and digitalisation. These events are aimed to inform interested members of the public about the varied assessments for the process of digitalisation. The topic will be shown in various formats to inform and stimulate further discussions about the chances and risk of digitalisation.

International Academic Summer Forum of the European Youth Parliament e.V.

Larissa Aldehoff, researcher in the field of „Science and Technology for Peace and Security" (PEASEC) at TU Darmstadt, was invited to perform as an expert at the annual summer forum of the European Youth Parliament e.V. (EYP). She reported on cyber security in the committees for terrorism, security and defence. Her valued input and the subsequent discussion provided content-related preparations of the delegate conference.

Use-A-PQClib: Usable APIs for post-quantum cryptography libraries

The working group User-Centered Security (UCS) headed by Prof. Andreas Heinemann, University of Darmstadt, is launching a new project. As part of the Use-A-PQClib project, the scientists, together with Darmstadt-based MTG AG, are designing and implementing an easy-to-use programming interface (API) for PQC procedures.
