Holiday Program Computer Science with a Focus on IT Security and Programming

CRISP organized for 20 boys and girls in the ages of 10-14 years in the 5th week of the Hessian summer vacation a colorful holiday program around the topic of IT security. The children learned how to program in a playful way, dealt with data protection, password security and encryption, examined a computer from the inside and built simple circuits with conductive ink.

Federal Minister Karliczek and Minister of State Rhein visit CRISP

Federal Research Minister Anja Karliczek and the Hessian Minister for Science and the Arts, Boris Rhein, informed themselves on the progress of Darmstadt cyber security research on their visit today. On the basis of numerous demos and exhibits they were able to convince themselves of the state of research of the Darmstadt scientists.

Award of Excellence for CRISP's publication

CRISP spokesman Prof. Johannes Buchmann, CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt, is one of the authors of the special issue on postquantum cryptography, the journal IEEE Security & Privacy, which has now been awarded the "Award of Excellence". The special edition presents the state of research and the major challenges in postquantum cryptography and discusses the transition of real systems to new technologies.
