Five finalists in the final of ATHENE UP25@it-sa Awards
These five newcomers will be competing at the Pitch on October 8 at the it-sa Expo@Congress for the award as best cbersecurity start-up of the DACH region: AlpenShield, Devity, Infrafon, Nenna.ai and Onekey.

An independent jury of experts selected the five promising companies. Europe's leading trade fair for IT security thus provides a platform for outstanding achievements by young entrepreneurs in the industry:
“With the live pitch, we give young companies a stage to present their innovative solutions to an expert audience and make valuable contacts,” says Thimo Holst, Exhibition Director it-sa Expo&Congress. “The response shows how important it is to specifically promote startups and give them visibility in a dynamic market.“
AlpenShield
AlpenShield from Vienna makes it easier for companies to use the powerful features of Microsoft Sentinel – without any expert knowledge. With Alpenshield's user-friendly app, companies have an overview of security-relevant information and can react quickly to cyber incidents. This allows system houses to build their own SOC service based on Microsoft Sentinel – quickly and without additional personnel.
Devity
Devity from Paderborn offers KEYNOA software, a fully automated solution for the commissioning and identity management of IoT devices. With KEYNOA, each device receives its own digital identity for secure authentication and configuration. The system is designed to increase IT security, reduce operating costs by up to 90%, and meet NIS-2 and CRA requirements. With open interfaces and modular architecture, Devity also strengthens the digital sovereignty of industrial companies.
Infrafon
Infrafon from Freiburg offers smart badges in credit card format for highly regulated and sensitive areas such as hospitals: with ePaper touchscreen, messaging and location tracking (WLAN, BLE, LoRa) they support ID functions for access and entry, optimize workflows, and are cost-effective alternatives to smartphones.
Nenna.ai
With Nenna.ai from Berlin companies can securily use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and protect their sensitive data. The platform recognizes, anonymizes, and masks company secrets and personal data in prompts and documents—for legally compliant, privacy-compliant AI use throughout the company.
Onekey GmbH
As a Düsseldorf-based specialist in product cybersecurity, Onekey automate compliance testing and analysis of networked devices. The AI-based platform detects firmware vulnerabilities and compliance issues in minutes and supports security throughout the entire lifecycle – for production as well as IoT and IIoT devices.
Presentation of the startups also on the digital platform it-sa 365.
The pitch candidates will present themselves virtually on September 23 as part of Digital Preview Day. Two weeks before the start of the trade fair, the free digital format offers a preview of important program items such as the ATHENE Startup Award UP25@it-sa.
