Prof. Michael Waidner strengthens the DsiN Advisory Board

Zur jüngsten Vollversammlung von Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. (DsiN) wurde CRISP-Sprecher Prof. Dr. Michael Waidner in den Beirat des Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. (DsiN) gewählt. Er wird als Mitglied des nun dreizehnköpfigen Gremiums dem DsiN beratend zur Seite stehen.

Asiacrypt 2017
On the International Conference on the Theory and Applications of Cryptology and Information Security (Asiacrypt) 2017 four papers were accepted by CRISP researchers. All four papers were submitted by researchers from the profile area CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt.
Asiacrypt is an international conference on the theory and applications of cryptology and information security.

New National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity in Darmstadt
The three institutions involved in CRISP, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Technische Universität Darmstadt and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, agreed to make CRISP a permanent National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Hessen State Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts (HMWK) support and promote the new center.

Prof. Johannes Buchmann becomes a member of the Society´s Milner Award Committee
The Royal Society Milner Award supported by Microsoft Research, was created by Council in 2010 and is given annually for outstanding achievements in computer science by a European researcher. Prof. Johannes Buchmann´s, CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt, outstanding scientific achievements on the field of cryptographie and IT-Security are honored with the conclusion in the committee.

Magazine about 20 years Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt
Twenty years ago the Hessian State Government awarded Darmstadt the official title „Wissen¬schafts¬stadt“. With this they honored the extensive scientific life in Darmstadt, the large variety of well-known scientific institutions and ultimately how much research and doctrine are shaping the city's everyday life. An insight into the scientific activities in Darmstadt is provided in the now published magazine "20 Jahre Wissen¬schafts¬stadt Darmstadt". The Cybersecurity research takes on a leading role.
