Position paper for Cyber­security is published

The position paper was compiled together by the directors of the three centers of competence, IT security research, Prof. Michael Backes, CISPA, Prof. Jörn Müller-Quade, KASTEL and Prof. Michael Waidner, CRISP and contains from the researcher´s point of view the most important challenges, as well as concrete recommendations for improving cyber security in Germany.

BioMobile II Projekt geht an den Start

The CRISP partner The University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt is the consortium leader of the project „BioMobile II – Da­ten­schutz­freund­liche und Prä­sen­ta­tions­an­griffs­sichere Sprech­er­erkennung“ which is supported by the Hessian Ministry for Science and Art (HMWK) . In this project a prototype for the verification of identities for mobile banking & payment solutions on the basis of eID and  voice biometrie is created. Hereby, the data protection friendly design of functionality and the hardening of  biometrical sensors stands in the foreground.

Hessia plans "Local Service Center Cyber­security"

The  Hessian ministry of Interior plans to intensify their support for research in the field of Cyber­security. With Prof. Michael Waidner (Fraunhofer SIT), Prof. Dieter Fellner (Fraunhofer IGD), Prof. Peter Buxmann (CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt) and Prof. Michael Massoth (University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt) there are IT security experts from all four CRISP partners in their function as consultants for the Hessian state government.
