Researchers at Fraunhofer SIT are showcasing security issues relating to AI systems at three stations. One station demonstrates computer vision: using soft biometric features such as tattoos or scars, it illustrates how individuals are recognised. Another station demonstrates backdoor attacks on AI models and illustrates how manipulated training data can alter the results of an AI application. Using the COAV authorship verification method, visitors can also try out how it is technically possible to determine whether two texts were written by the same person.

The festival programme includes keynote speeches, sessions such as Vibe Coding and the children’s keynote, as well as a supporting programme featuring beach volleyball, live music and food trucks between Zukunftspark and Neckar-Beach – there’s something for everyone. Admission is free. Over 15,000 visitors are expected.
