The nominees will present their dissertations on 18 March 2026 as part of the GI’s “GI SICHERHEIT 2026” event (17–19 March 2026 in Hamburg). The experts in attendance will select the winner (Audience Award).

The final round of the CAST/GI IT Security Doctoral Prize 2026 will take place from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm, with the award ceremony following during the conference dinner from 7.00 pm.
