Compliance with data protection law is extremely important for companies of all sizes, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Data protection violations can not only result in heavy fines, but also jeopardize a company's reputation and customer trust. SMEs face particular challenges in this context, as they often do not have the same resources and expertise as large companies.
Dominik Appelt from ATHENE / Fraunhofer SIT will teach the basics of compliance in data protection law for SMEs and provide helpful tips for implementation.
