Digitalstadt Darmstadt welcomes Winfried Kretschmann
Mayor Jochen Partsch welcomed Baden-Württenber's premier Mister Winfried Kretschmann together with Prof. Michael Waidner.
Together they discussed the new possibilities and advantages digitalisation offers for citizens, the economy and administration. Main focus of the exchange were questions of digitalisation for traffic, innovations by digitalisation for corporations and in particular questions of data privacy and cybersecurtiy.
At the following tour the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology presented the "Volksverschlüsselung" and research results concerning cybersecurity and data privacy for electromobility. The Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research demonstrated a system, which provides participants, decision makers and attendants of projects with a visual planning and coordination tool for Smart Cities.
