Carsten Meywirth, Director at the BKA and Head of the Cybercrime Department, has held the latter position since April 2020. Having completed his police training with the Lower Saxony State Police, he joined the BKA in 1987. Over the past two decades, he has held management positions in combating organised crime, information technology, and central administration.
