Robert Heinrich (49) is a seasoned political and public affairs professional with extensive experience in strategic communication, digital policy, and leadership within government and party organizations. He studied Political Science and Economics in Leipzig, Berlin and Washington, D.C.. From 2003 to 2021, he worked for the German Green Party, where he held several senior roles, including Head of Communications, Campaign Manager, and Chief of Staff to the Federal Party Chairs. In 2022, he joined the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) as Head of the Executive Office. Since 2025, he has been serving as Deputy Director General for Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence and Data Policy at the Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation (BMDS).
