Occlusion-aware Interaction Techniques for Tabletop Systems

AbstraktThis paper addresses challenges created by physical objects that occlude screen contents on interactive tab-letops. We propose novel techniques to support aware-ness, access and overview of occluded digital objects. These techniques take into account different functional zones on tabletops to provide information at varying levels of detail. We also contribute the PressView technique, a pressure-based interaction technique to get a quick overview of occluded objects.
